International shipping for minimum orders of $150.00 is available for $50.00. We ship using UPS Express Saver for International shipping.

The Great Helm, which began to be seen on the battlefield as early as the 13th century in its earliest forms, proved to be a winning design used for nearly three centuries. It was most commonly worn over a chainmail coif or skull cap. Typically constructed with 4 riveted pieces with a flat top, it featured a fierce-looking fixed visor that enhanced the already intimidating look of a charging knight.
Our Crusader Great Helm was inspired by an original piece from the middle 13th century, discovered in Pomerania and now displayed at the Historisches Museum of Berlin. This style of helmet was prominent from the mid-13th to the early 14th century and is depicted in historical manuscripts such as the Codex Manesse, the Maziejowsky Bible, and the Cantigas.
